This day has been amazing. It's Good Friday. We slept in until 9, and then had pancakes and bacon. After breakfast we had coffee and Bible time on the veranda. Next, Ivan and I went running while Aaron took the kids to the pool. It felt so good to run outside after this the neverending winter. Palm trees, warm breeze and laughter filled the air. After our run we had a shower and headed to the pool. We had a great time going on the water slides and swimming with the kids. I even judged a poolside lip sync contest. We had lunch poolside, and the kids had fun catching lizzards around the pool. In the afternoon, Megan, Grace and Jake were in a hula hoop contest and dance contest. As the dance contest was going, a storm came through and they closed the pool area. After everything cleared over, Holly, Emily, Hannah and I went to the mall while Aaron, Jake and the littles went to play mini golf, followed by an evening of feeding hotdogs to baby alligators! No lie. Oh, they also visited the largest McDonald's in the U.S..
