Grandma Debbie comes home for a visit

We don't get to spend a lot of time with Grandma Debbie, but when she comes to town she makes the short visits memorable. We crammed a lot of activity into Owen's Birthday Weekend with Grandma D. First of all, she shipped a huge mystery box to Grandpa Warren for Owen to open. The largest box he has ever opened for sure.

So, this is what was inside...

One month later, the kids are still driving it no less than ten times a day. Definitely an unforgettable 4th Birthday gift!   After taking some time to enjoy the new "razor" we were off to Mall of America to enjoy the day.

Megan and Owen loved the "Little Hopper"

We had to have a Sponge Bob photo-op. Emily was along on this adventure, she just didn't want her picture taken all day long.

Owen wanted to capture the moment with this giant shrimp.

We had a great lunch at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., and then hit the rides again . We finally arrived home with overtired kids and Grandma about 11 p.m. The next day we caught a matinee movie in Siren. Grandma Deb bought all of the girls, including me, matching "bling" flip-flops at the General Store. Thank you Grandma! We enjoyed dinner at Long Lake that evening with a delicious meal prepared by Aunt Carol. It was  a wonderful weekend.  We look forward to our next set of adventures with Grandma Debbie.
