Drew belly

I will always share this photo of the kids hands on my huge pregnant belly. Everytime I look at it it reminds me that he was really here. He's really lived in me from 9 full months. God used him to serve his purpose in his very short life. Mommy will always love you and miss you baby Drew.

DIY window seat cushion

We built this window seat about 6 years ago and I always thought that we would put cushions on it and make it all cute. Well, I have been searching for 6 years for a specific print that would tie in all of the colors in the living roon, be durable because Milo jumps off and on that bench 10 times a day, and just like anything I buy, I want to find it dirt cheap.

This week, I found a plan to make a window seat cushion and curtains. I completely resolved that this was my most cost effective way to get this done. I searched for fabric and found that it was going to be more difficult than I thought to find what I really wanted.

Well, this morning on a little excursion to the good old Family Dollar I found exactly the fabric I have wanted, the colors tie in my living and entry scheme, the fabric is made for deck chairs, so it can stand up to dirt and water and doesn't collect pet hair!!! The best part? The total cost was $17. God is so good, even in the minor details of life.

First 7th grade VB game

Emily had her first Jr. High Volleyball game against St. Croix last night. Up until now, she  played Club Red Volleyball, but now she plays for the school. Her team did very well and they won all of their matches.

First Day of School

Owen is in Kindergarten, Megan is in 4th and Emily in 7th grade. We started the day with chocolate chip Mickey Mouse pancakes and a little Bible study. I asked if Owen wanted to hold my hand as we were walking into the school building, he declined. I knew right there that my little boy had grown up. I don't know where the time has gone it seems like they were all just babies. I'm very proud of them and the people that God is shaping them into. I'm praying that they will have a good year and shine for Jesus.
