Brothers

This is one of those moments that I have longed to see. When I was pregnant with Drew, I looked so forward to seeing Owen sitting and playing with his little brother. I got all emotional this morning when I looked over and saw these two playing playdouh together. It just reminds me how blessed we are to have these children. Amongst the rat race of trying to make a meal, clean a meal, make a meal, clean a meal, change a diaper, change the wash, change my clothes, answer the phone, break up a fight, pay some bills, help someone with breastfeeding, plan a class, read to the kids, teach Bible lessons to the kids, run here,  run there, ... these moments are treasured gifts. I'm daily trying to remind myself, that life is not a race or an emergency. To slow down and take notice of these moments that God has provided, because these moments are fleeting.

Softball

The girls tried softball for the first time this year. Megan has really enjoyed it. Emily likes it, but isn't sure if she will do it next year. She has enjoyed getting to know the Frederic girls better. June was very busy going to games and practices most weeknights. Owen and Ivan had many hours of playing in the dirt while the girls played. We are looking forward to having less scheduled activities in July.

2nd week of June

Ivan watched his first fireworks at Frederic Family Days on Friday night. On Saturday, we made over our bedroom. The before and after pictures show the final outcome. We love the new look. A big thanks to my mom for all of her hard work. On Sunday we celebrated Father's Day and Emily made Aaron this extra special card. Today we started our earth science book, and our first experiment was making a flood in a jar. The kids and I are doing the Soul Surfer Bible Study, ABC Gospel, and memorizing the books if the Bible in order. Tonight the girls had softball in St. Croix Falls.
